GavinLeo is an independent NBA ratings and projections site. Every player gets a rating, every team gets a projected win total, and four tools let you check a matchup, build a lineup, and follow how the predictions are doing as the season goes.

How to Read the Numbers

Player rating
How many points per 100 possessions a player adds to a lineup of average teammates. Zero is about an average player, and higher is better.
Team rating
How much better or worse than an average team we project a team to be, in points per 100 possessions. It is the rating behind the win totals.
Roster rating
How good the players alone are. It can differ from the team rating, especially for a team that was far better or worse last season.
Win projections
Our projected win total for each team, shown next to the sportsbook line.
