limited 2025-26 minutes: little recent playing time, so the rating is less certain. small sample: too little playing time on record to rank the player. rookie: rated from college performance because there is no NBA record yet. no history: no record at all, so a default rating is used.

Rating is points per 100 possessions a player adds to a lineup of average teammates against an average opponent. It is our projection for 2026-27, not a record of what already happened. It is most reliable for stars and regulars; rookies, players with little recent playing time and players returning from long injuries are less certain. Offense and defense split the rating and always add up to it.

Teams. Roster rating combines the players' ratings by expected minutes and availability. Projected wins are our published totals.
